School Professional Development Program

Spalding Education International offers continuing instructional support through modeling, coaching, and observations to help school staff implement The Writing Road to Reading consistently and effectively.

National research studies show that the ability to retain both the content and methodology of staff inservice is significantly enhanced when follow-up instructional support is available.

Although Spalding Education International has been providing such support to schools for many years, these services were formalized in 1998 under the name, Spalding Professional Development Plan (SPDP), to assure consistency of instruction.
